step 6Other bits and pieces...

Trackstands:
These aren't hard, to start with practice by going very slow and keeping your balance until you can do it with minimal turning of the handlebars. Find a slight slope, now the idea here is not to try and keep super still but to use your back brake and pedals to rock back and forth with the handlebars turned slightly to keep your balance, handy for lots of things, one of which is muddy places, means you don't need to keep slipping on your pedals later on...

Dismounting:
I like to dismount both with a little grace and in a way that involves minimum effort, my favourite is definitely coming along and swinging one leg over the bike so I'm standing on one pedal and my other leg is tucked in behind me, start with both hands on the handlebars, you need to lean in to keep your balance, eventually you can get this by leaning over the bike with one hand and one foot, which is cool for saluting people and whatnot.

Future additions:

Well anything you'd like to see in here please do comment me or PM with requests, I'm sure there are tricks I'd know and others I'd like to learn.

Coming soon, ledzeppie's 'ible on more advanced tricks on you bike.

Another coming soon will be my more advanced 'ible, with some help from prometheus...

step 5Jumping.

So jumping, this involves most of the elements of a bunnyhop but without the work of removing yourself from the ground...

So coming up to your jump in question, speed is dependant completely on how high and far you'd like to go, start with ramp jumps or even sloped curbs, just to get used to the ideas involved, rather than land in a ditch...

So coming up to your jump at a speed you're comfortable with.

As you come off your jump, lift your legs in a bit and bring the bike to lean backward a bit, this give you a more stable position for both landing and 'flying'

When landing keep your legs bent, as you come in make sure the front wheel is straight.

Once you've landed on hard ground again you'll usually realise that jumping is not difficult as it's quite a natural maneuvre...

In the picture I'm actually shifting gears as I jump, the second one shows more landing...

Jump levelled.jpg

step 4The bunnyhop.

This one is a culmination of the leaning and lifting you learn from doing wheelies, also some people know it as a 'horse hop'.

In this the objective is to jump both wheels off the ground.

This is done by lifting the front of the bike up like a wheelie and then lifting the back to level.

So coming at any speed you're happy with.

Take a curb or something, to get used to the movements jumping off or over something is easier.

When you come to the obstacle lift the front wheel up.

***A far better explanation from ledzeppie, who also like his bikes...

push your bars forward... i lean back like **** and once my front wheel is high enough I throw my body up and push forward on my handlebars and that will level my bike out... i suggest learning these on speed bumps.

Make sure you have still got 'landing room' for your giblets, this applies to girlies aswell, that bike seat hurts either way.

once you master this it becomes a natural thing and is great for hopping curbs at speed instead of worrying about blowing the rear tyre...

I have to apologize for the bad photos in this step, try as we might we couldn't get a good mid-bunnyhop photo, I'll get the SLR and a helper and get it done soon. The first one shows me starting to take off, the second is of the 'lift' portion of the trick.

bunnyhop start levelled.jpg

step 3The stoppie or Endo.

This trick is about getting the back wheel off the ground by using your weight and the front brake, it's a little scarier than doing a wheelie but in reality much easier...

For this one you're best learning at lower speed and building up the big angles.

So coming along at a speed you're comfortable at, standing preferably to avoid the seat invading you when you come back down.

Pull the front brake in and slowly pull harder while leaning forward a bit, once slow enough to try tipping up lock the wheel and lean in a bit, no too much or you'll fall off the bike before it tips over anyway.

At any point let go of the brake or lean back to stop tipping forward.

If you go too far forward jump off the pedals and let go of the brake, let your feet land nearer the front wheel, if you forget to let go of the brake the back end will attempt to cut your leg off, not particularly painful but not pleasant.

So coming up start braking and when you're happy yank the brake and lean in, after a certain point where you feel like you're going face first, straighten your body a bit and that will slow you faceward progress...

just build up the speeds you do it at until you get it the way you like.

Once you get more skilled you can start turning around during endos I'm quite close to straight in this photo though urges are hard to resist...

step 2The wheelie...

This is an easy trick again, the objective being to lift the front wheel in to the air by pedalling hard and leaning back...

Ok so select a lowish gear, like 2nd and 2nd or 3rd and 1st On a fixie you have no choice and on a bike with a single derailleur I'd say 1st or 2nd.

Now If you want to do a high angle wheelie that wont hold for as long but is easier to do with less falling off pains I'd suggest doing them standing up.

For a wheelie you can hold for longer and travel with sitting down is better.

So start moving slowly and get ready...

When you feel good to go, pedal hard while pulling up on the handlebars and leaning back a bit, if you're standing and go too high simply hop off on to your feet.

So if you're having trouble lifting up, take a gear lower than before and work on timing, naturally if you pedal down hard all of a sudden the front end will lift, you need to combine this with leaning back and lifting the handlebars.

Don't let your front wheel turn sideways more than a few degrees, otherwise when you land you'll be bucked off the bike.

wheelie levelled.jpg

step 1The slide...

Ok we're starting with the most basic showing off you can do, alway fun on loose ground and wet days, also it's the easiest trick to pull off.

Basically the plan is to lock the back wheel up and get the back end to step out by turning like that so.

Going at moderate speed on loose ground or on wet ground, you can do it on any surface but it'll wreck your tyres...

See a turn you'd like to slide around...

Pull the back brake hard, once the wheel locks up you'r e free to turn whenever...

When you're turning allow the end to step out and if you get uncomfortable you simply let go of the brake and go on as normal.

You can either skid to a halt or slide around a turn and let off the back brake and continue on.

If you don't know this one already you can get more comfortable by starting on slippy ground and just going at medium speed, lock the back wheel and make small turning movements to get used to the feeling of it.

Once you get better you can start fishtailing etc. this is where you add turns in the opposite direction to eachother and swing the end about.

Sliding can come in handy in lots of situations, on forest trails when you seriously misjudge a turn sliding around it at high speed can be alot easier than attempting to brake and turn with the front which leads to washing out...

If you go too low and start to fall you can kick the ground with the inside leg to lean up or just drop down and slide to a halt, in most cases I find falling from a badly judged slide far less painful than when you wash out.

Skateboarding Tricktionary - 1-9

1080°

One thousand and eighty degrees remains, for the time being at least, an entirely theoretical amount of rotation. Three complete rotations are fairly common place in roller blading where skaters can throw themselves into very fast flat spins, and even in snowboarding where riders simply get more air and therefore have more time to spin, but in skateboarding a 1080° air has not yet been achieved (although I am told Shaun White is close to landing a fakie 1080° air).

180°

One hundred and eighty degrees. A standard measurement of rotation in skateboarding consisting of one varial rotation or half a flip.

3 Flip

Another name for a 360° flip.

360°

Three hundred and sixty degrees. A standard measurement of rotation in skateboarding consisting of two varial rotations or one flip.

360° Flip

A 360° kickflip. Any flip can be done 360°, but the kickflip is the most common. Depending on who you talk to, the 360° flip might be classed as 'the defining tech trick' of modern day skateboarding. That honour may also belong to the hardflip.

360° flips are also known as '3 flips' and tre flips.

5-0 Grind

Pronounced 'five oh', a 5-0 grind is the opposite of a nosegrind. A grind on the back truck with no other part of the skateboard touching the obstacle.

50-50

Refers to one of 3 distinct tricks:

50-50 Casper

See truckstand.

50-50 Grind

Pronounced 'fifty fifty', a 50-50 grind is your basic grind trick where both trucks grind on the obstacle with your weight distributed evenly between the two.

50-50 Truckstand

If a flatlander talks about a '50-50', chances are they're talking about a 50-50 truckstand, not a 50-50 grind. This is a truckstand but while holding on to the nose of the skateboard with your hands. Generally followed up with bouncing up and down like an idiot in a pogo!

540°

Five hundred and forty degrees. A standard measurement of rotation in skateboarding consisting of three varial rotations. Rarely seen in street skating, but various 540° grab tricks are common in vert skating.

720°

Seven hundred and twenty degrees. A standard measurement of rotation in skateboarding consisting of four varial rotations! This is difficult in vert skating let alone street skating... Tony Hawk was the first skater to land a 720° on a vert ramp in the eighties.

The 900°

Nine hundred degrees, or five varial rotations. Landing a 900° is the holy grail of vert skating, and the number of skateboarders who have landed one can be counted on one hand. True to form, Tony Hawk was the first skateboarder to land one, doing it for the first time both outside of competition (X Games V, 1999, after the buzzer) and during competition (X Games IV, 2003, best trick competition - which of course he won). A 900° trick is now simply known as 'the 900'. Tony Hawk does it with an mute grab but other skaters have since landed it using different grab tricks as well.

ABD
ABD is an acronym that, in the context of skateboarding, stands for "already been done" - it's used in conversation and writing to quickly refer to tricks that have previously been landed at a particular skating spot by another skateboarder.

For example:

o "That video part was crap - it had too many ABD's".
o "Can anybody give me a list of ABD's from south bank?"

ABD stands for a whole lot of other things not to do with skateboarding External Link as well.

Outside Boardslide
A slide where the tail and nose of the skateboard slide on two different objects. This is also referred to as a 'nailslide' (Nose/tAIL slide).
*

Pool Skating
The art of skating empty swimming pools that have transitioned (curved) sides. Was the forerunner of modern day vert skating, and enjoying a bit of a resurgence of late, although often in specially made pools found in skateparks instead of illegally draining backyard pools as was done originally.
*

Crailtap
Landing an air in vert/pool skating into a tail tap while grabbing crail.
*

The Loop
Simply a classic loop-the-loop. Few skaters have done it, but Bob Burnquist mastered it, doing it switch and taking the roof out to essentially do a switch frontside air from one side of the loop to the other.
*

Wallplant
Any move where a foot is planted on the vertical side of a wall at some point, e.g. a kickflip wallplant.
*

Broken Fingers
A half truckhook impossible caught in a 50-50 - your front hand catches the tail, while the front foot lands on what was the front truck.

The reason this trick got the name is because of how dangerous it can be. If you lean too far over and don't keep the board up high enough, you are literally going to crush your own fingers. Lovely.
*

Half Cab Impossible
A half cab impossible is a combination of a half cab and a fakie impossible, often confused with a rolling nosehook impossible.

The way to tell is to look at the front foot, obviously. Also, nosehook impossibles tend to stall on the tail slightly, while the half cab impossible is more of a fluid motion. If you watch, Mullen's are almost always nosehooks, and not half cab impossibles.

trick dalam skate boarding sunting dari:www.customskateboarding.com/tricktips/varial-kickflip.php

What it is: a 360 kickflip is also called a tre flip, 3 flip, and 360 flip. This skateboard trick is a combination of a 360 pop shove it and a kickflip.

Foot placement: Try hanging the toes of your back foot off the tail, for added scoop, and put your front foot right at about the middle of the board at a little more of a 45 degree angle.

1) Set your feet up (see above for placement)

2) Bend down, and make sure to be balanced.

3) Pop and bring your back foot back a lot, causing in a huge scoop, then immediatly lift it up so the board can spin. When the board is at about 45 degrees, flick your foot off the board causing the flip. Don't worry about timing it so you flick off at 45 degrees, it'll usually comes naturally.

5) Bring your front foot back after you have flicked it.

4) Jump real high up, to allow the flip, and jump a bit forward, because your flip might carry off a bit.

5) Watch the board and stomp it when it has rotated.

6)Ride away extemely satisfied.

NOTE: Don't worry if you don't get it first try, or even 50th try. This is an advanced trick.

NOTE: It's incredibly easier to do while moving.

Possible Problem: I land on the nose!
Solution: If stationary: try leaning back when doing the trick. Moving: Inertia makes you go forward while your board flips, so try resisting going forward, maybe try jumping a bit back, or leaning back.

Possible Problem: I can only get 270!
Solution: Remember to really scoop, really kick your back foot back when scooping.

Remember: Don't get mad if you're landing on the nose, because that counts as a 360 flip too, it just doesn't look as good, and you dont ride away.

Dropping in on Ramps

First find yourself a half pipe or a quarter pipe and a skateboard.

Set your board on the coping with the nose and trucks out over the coping and the tail resting flat on top of it. Now u got to drop in with your foot on the tail and your other foot over the back to bolts on front trucks. Crouch over the coping and you will start to fall forward, now you keep your weight somewhat forward and your shoulders square. Don't bail. When you hit the bottom (at the bend) put your weight evenly. Once you get past that part you should be on level ground and you can relax.

Learning Frontside And Backside

This issue is mostly for beginners.

For 180s, 360s,...: say your skateboarding in a straight line. When you fly in the air back first, with your back facing the way your headed, you're going backside. Say your flying in the air with your face facing the way you're headed. That's frontside.

Now, put that same thought in your flips. Just imagine yourself on your skateboard when its turning. Example: If your skateboard was turning 360 degrees. Now imagine yourself on the skateboard. If the skateboard turns so that you would be flying backward, that would be backside. Thus being a backside shove it. Vice versa for a frontside shove it.

Most beginners think that frontside and backside is the way you would throw yourself or flip your board. Its not, its pretty much the opposite.

Grinds: For grinds and slides, its pretty easy to get. It matters where your toes are facing. Say you come up to an obstacle with your toes facing it, and you grind a 50-50. That would be a frontside 50-50. Since your toes are facing it. If your toes where against the obstacle, then it would be a backside 50-50. Toes facing TOWARD the obstacle = frontside. Toes facing AGAINST the obstacle = backside.

The same applies to slides. Its matters where your toes are facing. So if you would want to do a backside lipslide, than you would go up to the object with your toes against the object.

Also, the rule applies for fakie, nollie, and switch stances.

Skateboard Trick Tips: Frontside - Backside

1. You're headed straight 2. You do a 180, flying with your back facing the way your flying. 3. You land

That's a backside 180 :)

How to do a Kickflip

I know at SB-C they actually have a whole forum on kickflips, but you dont really need that. I'm going to give it to ya straight, detailed and everything.

1. Set up with your back foot in the ollie position. Anywhere on the tail is pretty much good, I put my foot on the tip for some pop. Some put it way on the side. Now for the front foot, there are a couple places. I like to put it right in the middle and a little slanted, but some tend to put it just below the front bolts and angled. Just experiment to find what is right for you. Make sure to have your front foot on the board a ways, you want to have everything on except your heel, and then you can angle your foot.

2. Pop the tail and slide your front foot up like an ollie, but instead flick it off the dip where the nose starts. Remember, its a flick with more of your toe than anything. While your flicking it off the top you wanna lift up your back leg so the board can flip. If you don't the result is the board wont flip right.

3. This part gets some people stumped. "I land before the board does!!" well this is where you gotta JUMP! Make sure to jump!!!!!!!

4. Now lets go freeze frame. Your in the air and your board is flipping under you. A half second more and your gonna land and complain about only landing one foot. No more of this. Back to the freeze frame, after you flicked your foot out and you have your back foot up, you wanna bring back your front foot and bring down your back foot. Simple, but for many that is a problem. If your foot hits the board while your bringing it back, bring it back faster and jump a little higher.

Kickflip

Possible problem: I only land with my back foot.
Remedy: Remember to bring it back, but sometimes you're just scared to land it. So grow some balls and just stomp it down.

Possible problem: I only land with my front foot.
Remedy: You have to make a clean level flip so that when you bring down your back foot, it goes right onto the bolts. Sometimes its just because you dont bring up your back foot straight, and it goes out and all over the place, and you don't land anywhere near with your back foot. Just remember that it has to go straight up.

Possible problem: I fall when I land.
Remedy: If the board is shooting out, then you're probably not leaning forward enough. And remember, you want to try and land clean, so don't stick your feet together to land, have them spaced and straight over the board.

Pop Shove It - This trick consists of popping your skateboard and spin the back of your board (the tail) either right or left. It's a very easy trick to learn because you do not ollie at all. It's all pop, that's why it's called a pop shove it.

You need to learn how to spin the board 180 degrees so it lands right back under your feet .The placement of you feet helps a lot, you got to be able to push the tail of your board down and spin the board at the same time. Delay the shove with your back foot a bit so you're a little level and the board will spin level not all out of shape. Once you got the basic down you need to find a comfortable speed to do it at. Go at that comfortable speed, pop it up and push the tail down and out, either left or right. Also push to the side with your front foot to help the board spin cleaner. Once your board has completed a 180, catch the board with your back foot, put your front foot on and bend your knees to land.

If you did all that right you should have landed the pop shove it. Now practice the trick. Work on popping the board more to get higher. And also try rolling faster, so you get the hang of the trick. Good Luck!

How to Do a Varial Kickflip (by Skateinsomniac34)

Varial Kickflip- a trick where a skateboard spins 180 degrees, like a pop shove it, and flips, like a kickflip, at the same time.

Need to know - You need to know how to do pop shove its, and you don't necessarily have to know how to land a kickflip with both feet, but you should know how to flip the board well.

Foot Positioning:

Place your front foot just how you would for a kickflip, and angled to be ready to flick off the side quick when scooping.

Place your back foot flat on the tail like a pop shove it. You can also put it way on the tip, for added pop.

1. Pop the tail slightly angled, not straight, to start the spin. You don't need a monster scoop to get the spin, just enough to get 180 degrees.

2. Wait until the board is slightly angled backside, then flick your front foot off the side of the board causing it to flip and spin at the same time.

-Remember to lift your back foot up, so that the board may spin and flip freely.
-Also remember to jump very high, as to allow the board to complete the varial kickflip process before you land.

3. In midair keep your back foot in the same place, don't kick it out or anything.

-After you have flicked your front foot out, just bring it back at a bit to the board. Don't freak out over these, because they are way easier to land than kickflips, they're just like landing pop shove its.
-You may have to jump to the board slighlty for your first couple varial kickflips, but you can remedy this by scooping and popping angled more in the beginning, as to keep the board flipping and spinning under your feet.

4. Ride away very satisfied.

Problem: I always land on the board upside down.
Solution: This might mean you are focusing more on the pop shove it than the kickflip. 1.Just keep doing what you're doing but this time put all your might into your flick next time
2.Angle your foot more towards the side to get a faster flip
3. Jump higher to allow the board to flip all the way.

Problem: I only land with one foot.
Solution: You're probably not commited enough.
1. Its just like landing a pop shove it, so just gather up strength and commit to it!
2. Balance your self so that you can maneuver both feet to the board, i.e. leaning back too far may cause trouble for bringing your front foot back.

i'll trust u

akhir cinta abadi
tak seindah cinta yang semestinya
perih, ada yang hilang dihatiku
bila kau tak disampingku
temani aku
laguku, cinta dan luka
hanya untukmu dan merindukanmu
tapi bukan aku bukan diriku
cinta yang lain, aku bukan pilihan hatimu
maafkan
aku bukan pilihan hatimu
tapi aku tetap percaya kamu
semua tentang kita, tentang kamu
sempurna
tapi sebuah kisah yang salah bila aku tetap diantara kalian
bizzare love triangle
demi waktu
maaf(harus pergi) sejauh mungkin
lagu rindu ini, kesepian ini
menghapus jejakmu dari hatiku
when youre gone
akhir cerita cinta
antara kita, kini
tinggal kenangan
memiliki kehilangan karnanya
apologize hingga akhir waktu
sampai ku menutup mata
